The colorful shutters

The houses and paintings of Friedrich Hunderwasser are notably colorful. The shapes fit his name, because wave-like lines are reminiscent of water. He did not like straight lines at all. The painter loved curves and spirals. 

 

Hundertwasser is a great role model of mine. The instinctive use of colors, the preference to place complementary colors next to each other, the linking of motifs, the dominance of the odd lines and the sensually bright colors fascinate me. In order to stand out from other houses, a colorful residential house with Hundertwasser shutters was built in La Punt Chamues-ch in 2011. In harmony with the colorful flowers, it radiates friendliness and cheerfulness at the same time.
